The history of Gev: A Five Year Celebration is a spoof of channel history videos by starting normal until it shifts into a more cheesy and comedic story-focused video.

Plot:
Gev starts reading his script on the history of his channel only to find out that most of it has been transformed into Lorum Ipsum text. He then gets teleported to 2014 in which he comes face to face with himself from 2014. The Reaper then shows up for the first time in the history of the entire channel to destroy Gev for not really any reason at all. He sends the 2 Gevs to Gev's Wipeout Minecraft world that he made back in 2014. They then beat it and modern Gev gets sent to an unknown location unknown of where 2014 Gev went. He meets up with The Reaper and ends up getting captured by him. He figures out how to escape however and confronts him. After hitting him with one weak punch, The Reaper let's him go back to the present. At the end Gev celebrates Christmas, however, The Reaper gives him a gift which is the cheap licensed game, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer for the Wii.

The History of Gev Trailer:
This was a trailer that showed a bunch of clips of Gev from various different videos saying "Hey this is G or GEV07 whatever you want to call me" Giving a basic idea on what the video would be about.
Creation:
The History of Gev wasn't originally meant to be a comedy skit. It was more-so going to be the actual history of the channel but Gev ended up going on a Scott the Woz binge and created Gev (Web Series). It then evolved into the video we know today.
Fun Facts:
- The Reaper 3D model and other visual effects came from Windows 10s Video Editor.
- The video was mostly edited in iMovie.
- Some clips were edited on a school laptop during lunch hour because Gev didn't have an easily accessible Windows 10 PC at home.
- The last Reaper clips of the video were made at home unlike the other ones.
- The video originally followed a script but Gev decided to have fun with it and just made it up as he went along.
